Ten Minute Everyday Makeup Routine

This primer has been my saving grace since it first debuted. As a member of the oily skin club, a great mattifying primer is a MUST for me. The Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Primer by Fenty Beauty gives my skin a soft, smooth base so that my makeup glides on easily AND stays put all day. I have heard from my non-oily friends that this can be drying. So, if you have dry skin, you should try the hydrating primer.

Drugstore products that get the job done? I’m in! Black Radiance True Complexion HD Corrector has a creamy formula that glides on easily. The brush tip ensures that you get it in just the right spot, and there is a range of colors that can be used to camouflage and minimize any skin imperfections.  I use the True Complexion HD Corrector around my mouth, under my eyes, and on the sides of my nostrils where I have darker tones that I need to neutralize.

You cannot tell me that this Fenty foundation is not my skin! The color, the feel, it’s EVERYTHING! This has been another day one product for me.  Just like the Pro Filt’r Primer, I bought the Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation as soon as I could. I had to wait an extra two weeks after the debut because my shade was already sold out! But, once I got my hands on it, I was hooked.  It’s super lightweight, and the color match is unbeatable.  I haven’t used any other foundation since 2017.

My friend bought this for me as part of a birthday gift a few years back.  That was my first introduction to Glossier.  Okay, time for a transparent moment, brows are sooooo not my thing.  I barely can remember to get them groomed, let alone figure out how to use brow pencils and gels.  I actually used to use a brow stencil because I’m telling you, I need all the help that I can get in the brow department.  But this Boy Brow? This thing must be Taylor proof because I can just swipe it on and bam! Instant brows.  It gives my natural brows just a little more color and that’s all I need for my everyday look.

I really have some great friends! This was a birthday gift from another friend.  The Becca x Chrissy Teigen Glow Face Palette includes two highlight colors, a blush, and a bronzer.  This limited edition palette isn’t available for sale anymore, so I’ll spare you the details. I also LOVE the Fenty Beauty Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter in the shade Mean Money. If you don’t have any NYX lip products, sis, you’re playing yourself.  NYX lip products are some of my favorites because they have a wide range of shades and formulas. Bold and shiny metallics, classic reds, and matte neutrals, there’s something for everyone. Not only are there literally hundreds of shades to choose from, they feel AMAZING on your lips. The Soft Matte Lip Creams are a fan favorite and the Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick is like its big sister.  I use NYX Liquid Lip Suede in Downtown Beauty to line my lips and then apply NXY Soft Matte Lip Cream in Abu Dhabi in the center. Soft, liquid suede is exactly how they feel as you glide them on.
